We pride ourselves in creating high quality media with low processing time for every order.  For orders under 3000 plates, we guarantee a two week turn around time, even if the product is a special order.

Shipping is provided by FedEx unless requested otherwise.

When requesting a product that is not in our catalog, please fill out the form in the link below and return it to SmithRiver@swva.net. We will process the request and respond as soon as possible.

Rush Order Policy

Smith River Biologicals tries to accommodate any rush orders a customer may have. Sometimes, these rush orders requires rescheduling or employee overtime to complete. In this case, a 10% rush order fee will be charged for the rushed products. Customers will be informed of this fee before it is charged and will be allowed to accept or deny it. If accepted, the rush products are placed into production within 1 business day of ordering and will be shipped within 3-5 business days dependent on processing time and order size. In the event that it is denied, the order will be placed into the normal production schedule and will be shipped in the normal 5-7 day window. This fee is only used if the products are not in-stock or will require scheduling manipulation.

Return and Replacement Policy

In order for Smith River Biologicals to consider the replacement of damaged or contaminated items, the following criteria must be met:

1. Complaint must be made within one week of receipt
2. Lot numbers and exact total of damaged items must be provided
3. Pictures of the damage should be emailed to smithriver@swva.net
4. The Customer is responsible for a prompt receiving policy. We cannot be responsible for items left on the customer’s loading dock
5. Items must be stored in recommended conditions in order for a refund or replacement to be considered
6. We reserve the right to request that all damaged goods be returned before replacements are sent
7. We request that customers refuse to accept an obviously damaged box from FedEx or UPS
